Dress up your cards with little pastel bows and flowers with the Floral Wishes set!
Christina Griffiths demonstrates a delightful assortment of designs that you can create with the Floral Wishes set, free with Papercraft Essentials issue 146! Containing an embossing folder, stamps and outline dies, including a wreath, bows, flower and leaf designs to choose from, this is a very pretty and versatile set.
Christina has created four gorgeous styles, and takes us through step by step with one of them
Her first design has a little background and makes a frame with oval dies. The background panel has been embossed with the leaf folder and she works in some paper flowers to the framework. Her second design uses the scalloped circle die, creating apertures in the card, decorating with the stamp set. Her third design uses the wreath stamp, using the die to cut out the centre and embossing the background. Christina uses a beautiful coffee-shaded card to complement the delicate wreath colouring.
Christina’s video demonstration uses a top-folded notecard , 4¼” x 5½”. Enhancing with black panelling, Christina uses a combination of bright stamps, paint splatters and embossing to create her white base on which to set her gorgeous wreath design, with decoupage flower detail and an offset sentiment dressed with a final pretty bow. Christina has some fantastic tips and tricks throughout to bring us the best designs. We’re feeling inspired, and hope you are too!
