Hi everyone, my name’s Ann Marie.

Welcome to this card making project for Craft Stash.

In this episode we’re going to be using the Creative Dies that are called Family Sentiments.

They’ve been designed by Sarah Edmondson and there’s a set of six and there’s six female family dies. They will cut through paper, card, foam, foil and so many more of your different items that you’ve got in your stash. Very versatile and very very good value for money. Now in each kit there are different sentiments. I’m using two of the kits and one of them is the female Family Sentiments where there’s the six dies then I’m also going to be using the additional Family Specials Sentiments. Now the one thing I really do like about these dies is where you see the die in the pack it’s actually written above what the die says. Because obviously text dies are back to front so it’s not always to see, easy to see what they say or how their going to look with the font. So in this one in particular I’m going to be using the word “wonderful” so to be able to see that written and how it’s going to look after I’ve die cut it is great.

The other word I’m going to using is the word “Mum”. So those are the dies that we’re going to be using, they cut really well on one pass so I was very happy to use those. Now the card I’m going to be working on is the 6 by 6 inch square card and I’m using the Dovecraft cupcake papers. I’ve cut a layer for the base of my card and I’m simply going to add that as the base layer. I’ve already had the double sided tape on it. Then what I’ve done is I’ve used the cupcake stamp to stamp out the full cake. I’ve just slightly watercoloured it with grey pencils and then added water and I’ve inked the edges.

Everything that I’ve used I’ll put in the description box with the Craft Stash video. So I’ve got doubled sided tape on the back of it and I’m simply going to position it through the center of my card and then we can add our creative word dies. Now I’ve already cut them out and I’ve cut them in black card stock and then I’ve run them through my Xyron machine to add the adhesive on the back. Then I can peel them off very simply and add them onto my card and I’m going to add them just around the outside of the image that I’ve added, like so. Wonderful, ideal for any Mum that there is out there and it’s a nice quick simple card so we’ll just add the other wonderful on the other side like that. And the last “Mum” word, we’ll pop that at the bottom. So we’ve got our wording from our Creative Dies going around the edge then the last thing I’ve got is just the little top of the cake to add, where I’ve stamped that and I’ve added the colour from pencils and just watercoloured it in. So that is a really gorgeous card fit for any Mum, ideal for birthdays, Mother’s day or just to tell her how much she means to you. So the dies just stand out so well, the wording. Everything I’ve used I’ve put in the description and you’ll be able to check it out.

Please check out the other videos for Craft Stash. There’s so many more projects available on how to use their great products. Thank you so much for watching and hopefully we’ll see you again next time.
