PAPERCRAFT BASICS: Step-by-Step #07 Inking with a stencil

Creative Stencil Flourish
Ink Blending Mat
Ranger Distress InkScattered Straw / Shaded Lilac / Spun Sugar / Worn Lipstick
Blending Tools
Craft Masking Tape
Cardstock

Select your stencil/mask and decide on ink colours etc.

Attach your cardstock to an ink blending mat using craft masking tape.

Then attach your stencil/mask over the cardstock using craft masking tape.

Start to add ink on top of the stencil using a blending tool. Tap into the ink and then using cirular motions, blend on to the card, starting at the edge and working inwards. If using one colour, cover the area with ink and go to Step 8.

Steps 5, 6 and 7 – Add other colours, to build up the pattern, using the same swirl blending motion using the blending tools.

Remove the mask from the cardstock, carefully peeling away the craft masking tape. Then, remove the cardstock from the blending mat as well.
