How to make diy tea-light holders

1 Die-cut a square aperture into a piece of white cardstock, outline the edges with high-tack tape and layer with vellum.

2 Cover the vellum with an adhesive sheet, add more tape over the edges and secure a white die-cut frame of the same size on top to create a window. Remove the backing from the sheet and sprinkle with glitter.

3 Cut away any excess cardstock across the top and on one side of the frame and create two tabs – one along the bottom and the opposite side of the frame.

4 Repeat steps 1-3 to create 15 more windows, only removing the excess cardstock from the top on four of the windows to create three tabs.

5 Build the boxes by securing the tabs of four windows together and affix a square of silver mirror card to the base of each box. Use wet glue to assemble the candleholder to allow for movement when aligning the sides

6 Die-cut decorative details

7 Mount each letter onto a tea lights holder, embellish with holly toppers, gems and white die-cut snowfakes. Cut a plinth from grey board cover with green paper and arrange the tealight holders onto it to finish

Adding silver mirror card will help to reflect more light from the battery-operated tealight
