Today we’re sharing some amazing dies from Creative, a brand exclusive to Craftstash. There are two collections of affordable box dies available. The first is Creative Essentials and the second is the Creative Dies Plus Gift Box Collection. Now the great thing about these is that some of these box dies fit through a 6 inch wide die-cutting machine (Pyramid, Pillow Box, and Christmas Cracker). 

Usually box dies are on the wider side and require a larger diecutting machine like a Sizzix Big Shot Plus or  a Spellbinders Platinum. But some of these box designs can be cut on a regular 6 inch die-cutting machine. If you’ve been frustrated by box dies that don’t fit your machine, then you have options with some of the designs in this collection. When you’re assembling box dies, it’s best to use paper that’s on the heavier weighted side. 220gsm and above is perfect because it’s sturdy, but also thin enough to easily crease and fold the score lines the dies create. For adhesive you’ll want to use something that dries quickly and is easy to apply. We recommend double sided red liner tape because it’s thin enough to add strips to the box tabs, but is also a strong adhesive. We also like Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear glue for those smaller tabs on your boxes.
