Cricut Maker 3 Set Up

Congratulations on your new Cricut Maker 3! In this unboxing and setup video, we'll go through the process together. We have a Complete Beginners Guide to the Cricut Maker 3 here

To start, make sure you have both the UK and EU power adapters that come with the machine. Choose the appropriate plug and connect it to the power bank, which goes into the back of the machine. Additionally, you'll find a square adapter that can be used to plug in your tablet or laptop. This also goes into the back of the machine.

When you lift the lid of the Maker 3, you'll notice that the front door automatically unfolds. Inside the front door, you have tool storage and two housings for cutting blades and other tools. There is also additional storage on the left-hand side. At the top of the machine, you'll find a runner to hold your tablet and phone, as well as the power button and additional buttons.

Press the power button to turn on the machine, and then select "New Product Setup" from the menu on the top left. Choose the option to set up a smart cutting machine and select your Cricut Maker from the list.

Make sure you have 10 inches of space behind the machine, and if needed, use the USB cable to connect your device via Bluetooth.

Agree to the terms and conditions, and you're all set up and ready to start using your Maker 3. Before designing any projects, ensure that the correct machine is selected in the top right-hand menu.

Adding or replacing a tool is simple. Open the lever on the respective housing, lift out the blade, and place the new one in. Close the housing and the door on top, ensuring they click securely.
