Clare Rowlands, Copic Colourist expert, not only does amazing alcohol marker colouring, she also creates STUNNING off-the-page projects! In the video below she shares how to pick a colour palette for your projects. Picking a colour palette doesn’t have to be difficult, but it does help make your project more cohesive if you pick the right colours.   The first thing she recommends is to choose your papers. Before colouring any of your stamp images, pick the colours of the card stock you’ll use, whether this is solid colours or patterned papers. Then pick your alcohol marker colours accordingly. Clare uses a colour chart to help her see which colours work best together. Here’s the chart she uses: Clare loves using the papers in her new Christmas collection. They all coordinate perfectly together and there's a good mix of designs. There are two paper pads to pick from, Winter Wonderland and All Wrapped Up. Both are beautiful and festive 6x6 paper pads with 8 designs each, perfect for all your Christmas crafts! She then picked her marker colours for her stamp image which is the Build A Snowman set. She used R35, R37, R39, BG72, BG75, and BG78. Picking a colour palette for your projects doesn’t require much time, and it’ll make your projects really stand out. And remember, papers first, markers second!
