Copic Alcohol Markers colours are an investment, and definitely worth every penny! However, one thing you need to know before getting started with colouring is how to store your alcohol markers properly.  Clare Rowlands, expert Copic colourist shares how she stores her prized collection of  markers, while she’s on-the-go and at home. The crucial thing to remember is that usually alcohol markers are dual tipped, so they need to be stored on their side.  Due to the nature of alcohol pens, they need to be stored horizontally to ensure even ink flow to both ends. This way no one side of the pen is getting more ink. You can either buy a special pen wallet holder, or you can buy pots or tins that can be placed on their side to store your markers in place. Here's a look at Clare's alcohol marker storage at home: We love this Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Universal Pen Tray. Each tray (13.5cm x 24cm) holds twelve pens and can be stacked as high or as wide as you require. It can store up to 72 pens! Plus it’s suitable for pens up to 17mm in diameter. So if you have other alcohol markers, like Spectrum Noir or Little Tipsy, you can store them here as long as the pens aren’t wider than 17mm.  See how Clare stores her alcohol marker pens below, perhaps you'll get some ideas for your own alcohol marker pen storage:
