Do you need a last-minute Christmas card idea? Here’s one to try! This is a festive and intricate snowflake frame card using the Dies by Chloe snowflake die gift included in Die-Cutting Essentials 45. We love it because it can be displayed on a mantle , plus it’s easy to make!
First trim 2 different colours of card to A6 size (10.5cm x 14.8cm). Die-cut your two pieces with the intricate inner die, making sure to place the die in the centre of the A6 card. Cut some vellum to A6 size and stamp with a Christmas sentiment. We used Cardmaking Magic Christmas Sentiments A5 stamp set. Then adhere the vellum to the background panel with some liquid adhesive.
The next step might be a little tricky, so make sure to watch the full video tutorial for step-by-step instructions. Here’s what to do next. Add two score lines to the front frame about .5cm from the edge of the inner die (on both sides). Fold these back and glue to your background, naturally bowing your back frame as you glue it down.
Once your card is assembled, you can glue additionally snowflakes and gemstones for a little sparkle!
