The launch of the new Made To Surprise collection is very exciting not only for Sam but for us as well. We are thrilled with this fantastic range, it's full of surprises and features that will impress everybody! You can check out the full collection here. This pretty collection features stunning and high-quality paper pads, die sets, stamp sets and sentiments, including 'Special Day', 'Kindness Is Always In Fashion', and 'Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful'. In fact, we wanted to focus this post on the amazing coloured dies of the Made To Surprise Super Sliders collection by Sam Calcott, as the colour may be transferred on the paper cards, and we wanted to show you how to use the dies to get the best out of them! The Made to Surprise A5 Die Set Shoes consists of a great variety of different shoes and bags, as well as a diamond and a bow. They work perfectly with the coordinating Shoes and Bags Stamp Set, and we think it's perfect for any girly-themed card. In addition, we love the Made to Surprise Die Set Make-Up which includes makeup brushes, lipstick, nail polish, lips, glasses, powder, mascara, a pile of fashion books, and bottles of perfume. The designs you can make with this die set alongside the Make-Up Stamp set are endless! Furthermore, Sam has developed three different die sets (circular, square and rectangular) to create slides and reveal cards without the tedious measuring and cutting that it's normally required. We believe this is a game-changing product that will allow you to make stunning cards in no time!

How to use Made To Surprise Dies

All die sets from Made To Surprise are made using a beautiful blue-green colour. When using them, please note that initial use may result in colour transfer on light coloured paper and card stock. To avoid this, simply use release paper. Release papers are papers coated with a release agent and are used in a wide range of applications. Place this between your die and your card, then feed through your die cutting machine. Your card will then be die-cut perfectly with no colour transferred on it. In addition, we recommend using the Stix2 A4 Die Cut Release Sheets. They are good value and you won't have to worry about any colour transfer! You can check it out here.
