One layer cards are perfect for crafters who prefer makes that are on the simpler side. However, these types of cards don't have to be plain and you can get really creative by using stencilled masks and adding some heat embossing. This can give an appearance of dimension without adding additional layers to your card front. Janette uses the A4 stamp set Autumnal Treasures from Creative Stamping issue 60 to create this fall-themed card featuring a fluffy squirrel in what appears to be an aperture window.
