Sizzix Big Shot Express Unboxing, Setup, and Demo

30 Oct 2018 0 Comments Die Cutting, Reviews

Back and better than ever, the Sizzix Big Shot Express leaves the crank behind with the push of a button for effortless die-cutting and embossing. We tested out this electric die-cutting machine and fell in love instantly! We’re not only impressed with its cutting power, we’re floored by its quiet motor!

This electric die-cutting machine is so helpful for users with limited mobility. You work the machine with the push of a button. And there’s only one button to operate the machine, so there won’t be any confusion. The Big Shot Express  also helps you create one-of-a-kind cards, invitations, scrapbook pages, home décor, fashion, altered art, quilting and much more!

Included with the Big Shot Express are a pair of Standard Cutting Pads and the Extended Platform and Extended Thin Die Adapter, which makes all Sizzix components thinner than a Bigz Die compatible with the Big Shot Express Machine! The diagrams on the Extended Platform and Extended Thin Die Adapter offer easy guidelines about how to make the perfect Sizzix sandwich.

With the right dies, the Big Shot Express can cut pretty much anything you can cut with scissors! Here’s a few materials that this electric die-cutting machine can cut (and we demonstrated a few in the video below too):

  • cardstock
  • felt
  • multiple layers of fabric (perfect for quilters!)
  • foam board
  • greyboard
  • mat board
  • chipboard
  • sponge
  • acetate
  • vinyl
  • magnet sheet
  • leather
  • wood veneer
  • craft metal
  • grungeboard
  • shrink plastic

Did we mention how quiet it is? Take a look at the Big Shot Express unboxing and setup below:
