The Small Squares Die Set is a set of 9 metal dies designed by John Lockwood of John Next Door, which will cut nestable shapes for creating backgrounds and frames.

The dies feature both plain and scalloped edges with which you can create intricate frames and borders. The pieces you cut can be mix and matched together to perfectly fill card fronts up to 4 x 4 inches in size, and you can even use these to cut apertures into your handmade card fronts or scrapbook layouts. Each scalloped edge circle also has a nestable background panel, allowing you to cut the centre away and leave behind an outline for framing sentiments, die cuts, embellishments and more!
