The Diamond Trails Rondelle plate from Scarlett Rose Crafts brings a pretty collection of six dotted designs: scalloped square, straight square, two circle and two scalloped circle. Use these to pierce a shape guide for placing gemstones or cutting shapes with a craft knife. This plate includes a handy foam mat to protect your work surface when piercing and stamping, and safety caps.

The Rondelle plate is also a beautiful 'rosette' maker - its centre hole takes a regular dress making pin which protrudes up through the centre of the mat and plate to give a starting point for your rosette, simply use the varying etched circles on the plate as a size guide to measure your rosette.

Rosette Instructions

• Place a pin through the centre of the foam mat then place the Rondelle plate over the pin that is sticking through the mat using the centre hole
• Anchor your ribbon across the pin, then take your ribbon out to one of the etched measuring circles, fold over at your desired length, and return your ribbon across your pin, adding a spot of fabric glue at the centre point.
• Repeat, and continue adding glue as you go, until you have a flouncy rosette of your choice.
• Remove your pin and use safety caps provided.
