How To Make a Cute Easter Coaster with your Cricut Machine
This little make is ideal for Cricut beginners!
- Download the Hoppy Easter SVG from www.craftworld.com and import into your Cricut software. Resize to 8.5 cm wide. Duplicate the design so you have two sentiments on your canvas.
- Proceed to make a basic cut in the software. Position the two sentiments at 1cm and 13cm on the cutting mat. Choose the option to mirror the design.
- Place the vinyl on the cutting mat with the liner side down, aligned with the position shown in the software. Load the cutting mat into the Cricut machine.
- Choose matt vinyl in your software settings and ensure the correct blade is loaded in the machine. Press the Go button to begin cutting.
- When the cut is complete, unload the mat. Weed the excess vinyl from the design with a weeding tool. Use the weeding tool to carefully swap two pieces of vinyl between the eggs in the two sentiments.
- Ensure the shiny side of the coaster is clean and dry.
- Apply transfer tape to the vinyl design. Peel the transfer tape and vinyl design away from the paper liner.
- Use the transfer tape to apply the vinyl design to the shiny side of the coaster. Use the roller to apply even pressure and ensure a firm adhesion.
- Slowly and carefully remove the transfer tape, leaving the vinyl design on the project.
