The beautiful Tattered Lace Teapot Party die included with Die-Cutting Essentials 48 inspired this partial die-cut card tutorial. This exclusive and intricate Tattered Lace design is super-snippable! And it's perfect for all-occasion cards. You'll definitely need a die brush to clean your teapot die of all the beautiful fall-out too! Now what's great about this partial die-cutting technique is that you can apply it to other dies in your stash.  The most important thing is to measure the height of your die so that you can cut your card base to the same size. If you cut your card base larger than your die, your card won't stand on its own. Simply measure your die with a ruler and then trim your card base height to that size. You can worry about the card width later because you can always trim it down to whatever dimension you like. Also to achieve a partial die-cut, you need to make sure that your cutting pads do not cover the die completely, otherwise your dies will just cut normally. The part of the die that you want to partially die-cut needs to "hang off" the edge of your cutting sandwich.
