Tunnel Card Tutorial - What is a Tunnel Card?

A Tunnel Card is an enchanting style of handmade greeting card that brings a three-dimensional, depth-filled experience to the recipient. At first glance, it may look like a typical card, but upon opening it, it expands to reveal the layers.

The term "Tunnel Card" is derived from the distinctive design method used in its creation. When you unfurl the card, your eyes meet a series of layered panels receding into the card, producing a striking, tunnel-like illusion, you can use as many layers as you like but usually 3 is plenty. The layers presents a sense of depth and perspective, inviting the viewer in.

Like many 3D cards, one of the most appealing aspects of the Tunnel Card is its adaptability. It can be tailored for any event – be it anniversaries, graduations, festive seasons, or a heartfelt 'miss-you' message. The layers can be decorated with a myriad of die-cut and stamped elements, ephemera or embellishments, each adding more intrigue and depth to the overall design.
