How beautiful is this BRAND NEW V&A Papercraft Collection!? Take a peek at everything in our V&A Kit unboxing here. We had a delightful time working with this exclusive papercraft collection and pairing the embossing folder included with a little paint! If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to use paint with embossing folder designs, then watch this video.

Now the key to effectively accomplish this effect is to use a paint that has some body to it. Don’t use a watery paint or one that’s too thin (we used Aladine Izink Diamond Paint). It might run into your debossed design. Make sure to spread the paint onto a craft mat with your brayer first and then transfer the paint onto your embossing folder. We used a Spectrum Noir Brayer because it has a nice width that works well with the A6 leafy embossing folder included in the V&A Papercraft Collection. With a little practice you can master this technique and bring new life to your embossing folder designs!
